The Northeast Regional Cancer Institute recently presented an education program on Sun Safety to students at The Scranton School for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children.
Alison Haegler, a Cancer Institute intern and Community Health Education major at the University of Scranton, led the interactive program aimed at teaching the students to protect themselves from sun exposure that can lead to skin cancer.
